Thrissur: Actor Kalidas Jayaram tied the knot with model Tarini Kalingarayar in a traditional and intimate ceremony held at the historic Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple on Sunday. The sacred event was attended by close family and friends, marking a joyful union of two illustrious families. Kalidas, son of renowned actor Jayaram and former actress Parvathy (Aswathy), was joined by Tarini’s parents, Harihar Raj and Arathy, in the celebrations.
Dressed in vibrant red traditional attire, the couple exuded elegance and grace, perfectly complementing the temple’s serene and spiritual ambiance. Several notable personalities graced the occasion, including actor-politician Suresh Gopi with his wife and Kerala Public Works and Tourism Minister P. A. Mohammed Riyas accompanied by his wife, T. Veena.
The Guruvayur Temple has a special connection with the Jayaram family, as it also hosted the wedding of Kalidas’ sister, Malavika, to Navaneeth Gireesh earlier this year on May 3.
Jayaram, a proud and emotional father, had shared his excitement during pre-wedding celebrations, which gained widespread attention on social media. Reflecting on the union, he said, “This wedding feels like a dream come true. The Kalingarayar family’s grace and warmth have been a blessing. Welcoming Tarini into our family is a moment of immense joy and gratitude to God.”
