The news was confirmed by Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, son of producer Maniyanpilla Raju, in response to a fan’s question on Instagram about a potential 4K re-release. A screenshot of this confirmation has since gone viral on social media, further fueling excitement among cinephiles.
Following the successful re-releases of iconic Mohanlal films like Spadikam, Devadoothan, and Manichitrathazhu, Chotta Mumbai is the latest film to return to the big screen. The film’s ensemble cast includes Bhavana, Kalabhavan Mani, Vinayakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Rajan P Dev, Siddique, Bijukuttan, Manikuttan, and Sai Kumar, each of whom contributed to making it a fan-favorite.
