Quality Power Electrical Equipments Ltd. (QPEEL) has made a notable debut in the stock market, with its shares closing at ₹430 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reflecting a 1.18% increase from the issue price of ₹425 per share. The company’s initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on February 14, 2025, and concluded on February 18, 2025, with a subscription rate of 1.29 times.

The IPO comprised a fresh equity issue worth ₹225 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 1.5 crore shares, totaling ₹634 crore at the upper price band. The funds raised are earmarked for strategic initiatives, including the acquisition of Mehru Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and capital expenditure for new equipment and machinery.

QPEEL specializes in high-voltage electrical equipment and solutions for power generation, transmission, distribution, and automation sectors. As of September 30, 2024, the company served 143 customers, including power utilities, industrial clients, and renewable energy entities. Notably, over 80% of its revenue in FY24 was derived from international markets, underscoring its strong global presence.
