Three Pakistani Terrorists Eliminated in Kishtwar Encounter Amid Harsh Conditions

Army Recovers Cache of Arms Including AK Rifle and M4 Carbine in Ongoing J&K Operation

In a significant breakthrough against cross-border terrorism, the Indian Army has successfully neutralized three Pakistani terrorists in the Chhatru region of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The anti-terror operation, which began on Friday under difficult weather conditions, has intensified over the weekend. On Saturday, the Army confirmed the killing of two additional terrorists, bringing the total number of neutralized militants to three. The operation is part of a broader effort to thwart infiltration attempts and dismantle militant networks operating in the region.

A substantial cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the encounter site, indicating the militants were heavily armed and well-prepared. Among the items seized were a sophisticated M4 carbine and an AK-47 assault rifle, both often used in cross-border militant activities. The recovery underscores the threat level posed by these infiltrators and highlights the readiness and precision of the Indian security forces in countering such threats. The presence of such advanced weaponry points to possible support from across the border.

As of now, the area remains under active surveillance as security forces continue combing operations to rule out the presence of any remaining militants. The terrain and harsh weather have posed additional challenges to the personnel on the ground. Nevertheless, the Indian Army remains firm in its mission to eliminate threats and ensure the safety of the region’s residents. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and additional reinforcements have been kept on standby if needed.
