Nissan is gearing up to unveil the Magnite Facelift, with the official launch set for October 4. Ahead of this event, the company has begun accepting bookings for the updated SUV at a nominal token fee of Rs 11,000. Recently leaked images have provided a closer look at the design enhancements featured in the facelift version of the Magnite.
The leaked pictures indicate significant modifications to the front of the vehicle, featuring a redesigned grille and an updated bumper that contribute to a bolder and more aggressive stance. The grille incorporates a blend of thick chrome slats and glossy black accents, offering a fresh look while maintaining the overall character of the SUV. Interestingly, the headlight design appears to remain consistent with the current model, as do the rear tail lamps, which now come with a smoked effect to enhance their visual appeal. Although the design of the rear bumper is not clearly visible in the leaked images, it’s anticipated that updates may have been made.
Inside, the Nissan Magnite Facelift is likely to boast a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The dashboard design is expected to closely resemble that of the outgoing model, but it may feature additional amenities such as wireless charging options, enhancing the overall user experience.
In terms of performance, the Magnite Facelift is expected to retain the same powertrains as the previous version. This includes a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine generating 71 bhp and a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 98 bhp. Transmission choices for the naturally aspirated variant include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, while the turbocharged version will offer a CVT and a 5-speed manual option.
