Kozhikode: With dedicated support from Xylem Learning, Vipindas from Karimba in Palakkad has transformed his educational journey, emerging as one of the top scorers in India for the CA Foundation exam held in September 2024. Hailing from a modest background, Vipindas has not only excelled academically but has also captured attention as the 1st rank holder in the CBSE Plus Two exams. This impressive accomplishment reflects the resilience and hard work he has shown despite challenging circumstances, including caring for his father, Shivadas, who lost his job due to an illness-related amputation.
Recognizing Vipindas’ potential to become a chartered accountant, Xylem Learning, South Asia’s largest educational platform, offered him extensive support, covering his tuition, accommodation, and additional expenses necessary for his CA studies. This effort falls under Xylem’s “My Happiness Project,” an initiative led by CEO Dr. Ananthu S Kumar. The project was created to help underprivileged students pursue their educational dreams by removing financial and logistical barriers. Dr. Ananthu emphasized that Xylem’s support has enabled students like Vipindas to achieve success despite financial hardships. As part of the initiative, one lakh rupees were allocated to assist with the medical expenses of Vipindas’ father.
Xylem’s impact extends beyond individual students, as the “My Happiness Project” also provides resources for schools with limited funding, housing assistance for homeless students, and medical aid for families in need. Building on its success in NEET and JEE coaching, Xylem’s “Commerce Pro” program now empowers students in fields like CA, ACCA, and CMA. Under this program, students from Kochi and Kozhikode have achieved remarkable results in national and international exams, guided by skilled mentors and specialized training sessions.
