
Lohia Auto has officially launched its new electric vehicle (EV) brand, Youdha, as part of an ambitious ₹20-crore expansion initiative. Under this brand, the company plans to manufacture and sell 3 lakh electric vehicles by 2027, catering to both passenger and cargo transport needs.
The initial lineup under the Youdha banner includes electric three-wheelers designed for urban and semi-urban markets. The passenger model, Youdha E5, prioritizes comfort, space, and efficiency for daily commuters, while the cargo variant offers a sustainable and dependable solution for logistics operations. Both models underscore the brand’s commitment to offering high-performing, eco-friendly transportation solutions.
Speaking at the launch, Ayush Lohia, CEO of Youdha, stated, “With Youdha, we are not merely producing electric vehicles but empowering India’s everyday warriors—those who tirelessly work for their families and ambitions with determination.”
The Youdha E5 passenger model boasts a 10-kW battery capable of covering up to 160 kilometers on a single charge. Priced competitively at ₹3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), it provides an affordable, sustainable alternative for urban mobility.
