Pramod Bhagat today won historic gold medal in men’s singles SL3 class ,Manoj Sarkar won bronze as India stamped their skill at the Tokyo Paralympics .
Bhagat defeated Great Britain’s Daniel Bethell in the summit clash while Sarkar beat Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara in the third place , with both the our players winning in straight games.
Pramod Bhagat, the current world No. 1, thus became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the sport.
