
Thailand has launched the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) to attract remote workers and freelancers to the country. This new multiple-entry visa, valid for five years, allows holders to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per year, with the possibility of extending for an additional 180 days.

Long-Term Stay: DTV holders can reside in Thailand for up to five years, significantly longer than standard tourist visas.
Multiple Entry: The visa permits multiple entries, allowing holders to travel to and from their home country during the visa’s validity.
Affordable Rate: The DTV is more cost-effective compared to similar visas in the Southeast Asian region and has lower income requirements.
Family Inclusion: Visa holders can bring their spouses and children under 20 years of age.
Tax Benefits: There are no taxes on income earned from foreign sources while living in Thailand.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be at least 20 years old.
Sufficient funds must be demonstrated to cover the visa fees.
A minimum bank balance of 500,000 THB is required to support the applicant’s stay.
Proof of employment from a registered company is necessary.
