Arathi, the daughter of N. Ramachandran from Kochi who was tragically killed in the recent Pahalgam terror attack, has expressed pride and satisfaction over India’s strong military response through Operation Sindoor. Speaking to the media, Arathi said she felt emotional yet proud upon hearing about the operation. “It feels good to know that the country is doing this for us. We were standing on our land when innocent people were mercilessly killed. India must strike back like this. While nothing can compensate for my loss or erase the horror I witnessed, today I feel proud to be an Indian,” she said, also affirming her trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words.
Ramachandran was killed right before Arathi’s eyes during the brutal terrorist attack. Operation Sindoor, a coordinated strike by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, targeted terror bases in Pakistan and PoJK. Reports confirm that nine terror camps were hit using precision weapons, including French-made SCALP missiles and cruise missiles. Major targets included Jaish-e-Mohammed’s hub in Bahawalpur, the Lashkar-e-Taiba base in Muridke, and other training camps in Muzaffarabad.
At least 30 terrorists were reportedly killed and over 55 injured, according to regional media. Intelligence agencies had pre-identified these locations, allowing for a well-coordinated and simultaneous missile strike. Meanwhile, Pakistani shelling across the LoC resulted in three civilian deaths and property damage, prompting evacuations in border areas like Uri. India remains on high alert along its frontiers.
