Adapting fashion choices to changing seasons can be challenging, especially with extreme weather variations. Actor Rohit Purohit has mastered this with his smart wardrobe choices for the monsoon, opting for lighter fabrics and darker colors to manage potential splashes.
Discussing his monsoon fashion, Rohit shared, “For the rainy season, my wardrobe includes lighter fabrics and darker colors to hide any potential splashes. I love layering, with stylish jackets and boots being my go-to.”
He offers style advice, emphasizing comfort and functionality without sacrificing style. “Carry a trendy umbrella and always have a good pair of shoes to keep your feet dry,” he recommends.
Known for his role as Armaan in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ Rohit enjoys the monsoon season and creating romantic scenes with his co-star. He believes in natural reactions and spontaneity, capturing the essence of romance on screen. “Creating that monsoon magic on screen is all about being present in the moment and reacting naturally to the rain and environment,” he explains.
He also highlights the importance of production dynamics, including the director’s vision, the right music, and mutual understanding of the scene’s emotion. Off-screen bonding with co-stars enhances the on-screen chemistry, translating into those magical romantic moments viewers love.
Rohit recalls a memorable scene where Armaan tries to reconnect with Abhira, both completely drenched, which conveyed the scene’s intensity. “After the scene, we all just stood there, soaking wet, feeling the impact of what we had just filmed. It’s one of my favorite moments on set, and the camaraderie we share off-screen helps our on-screen chemistry shine.”
The show is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut Productions.
