Bollywood veteran Sunny Deol, known for his powerful performances and iconic dialogues, recently shared his thoughts on reusing the legendary line “dhai kilo ka haath” in his latest film Jaat. Directed by Gopichand Malineni and released on April 10, the action-packed drama features Sunny in a fierce lead role. While audiences cheered the return of the beloved phrase from Damini, the actor admitted in an interview with IMDb that he wasn’t initially thrilled about bringing it back.
Sunny confessed he had reservations and was “a little bit not so happy” about reusing the iconic dialogue. However, after understanding the director’s vision and the narrative context, he acknowledged that the line was effectively placed and resonated well with the scene. “Now everybody is talking about it,” Sunny remarked, indicating how well-received the moment has been.
To celebrate the film’s success, Sunny recently shared some behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments from the Jaat shoot on Instagram. He thanked fans for their overwhelming love and encouraged them to create reels and engage with the energetic theme track.
Looking ahead, Sunny Deol has a busy schedule. He will star in Border 2 alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan, portray Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, and appear in Lahore 1947, another much-anticipated project.
