Vijay Raaz has been removed from the set of the upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2 starring Ajay Devgn, amid controversy surrounding his alleged unprofessional behavior. The actor, who was cast in a pivotal role, was reportedly dismissed due to complaints about his conduct. Producer Kumar Mangat confirmed that Raaz was asked to leave the project after allegedly demanding larger accommodations and additional charges for his staff.
However, Vijay Raaz has denied these allegations, calling them false. He explained that his request for a larger room was due to his need for space to practice yoga and was made in good faith. Raaz expressed his surprise and disappointment at being asked to leave the set, emphasizing his long-standing reputation in the industry and insisting that all financial arrangements had been settled before filming began. The sequel to the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar was officially announced on August 6, with Mrunal Thakur joining the cast.
