Gabriel Macht, widely recognized for his role as the charismatic lawyer Harvey Specter in the hit legal drama Suits, has confirmed that he no longer resides in the United States. The actor recently revealed that he has relocated to Europe with his family but has chosen to keep his exact location private. Speaking to People magazine, Macht stated, “I am based somewhere in Europe, but I don’t tell anybody where I live because I like to keep that under wraps.”
Macht, who is married to actress Jacinda Barrett, shares two children—a 17-year-old daughter, Satine, and a 10-year-old son, Luca. He hinted that his family is embracing a more adventurous lifestyle by traveling and exploring different parts of the world. The decision to move came after the conclusion of Suits in 2019, following nine successful seasons. Wanting to focus on family life, Macht took a long hiatus from acting to spend quality time with his loved ones.
Best known for his role in Suits, Macht has also appeared in romantic comedies such as Because I Said So. His portrayal of Harvey Specter made him a fan favorite, alongside co-stars Sarah Rafferty, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and Meghan Markle. While he has not disclosed any future acting projects, his move to Europe signals a shift towards a more private and family-centered lifestyle.
