The Tamil Nadu government has officially granted permission for an additional screening on the day of its release, making it a special occasion for moviegoers. According to reports from IANS, the government has allowed the makers to schedule five shows on February 6, with screenings running from 9 AM to 2 AM. While the production team initially requested permission for extra shows on both February 6 and 7, the government approved the request only for the opening day.
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi has generated significant buzz, especially since Ajith Kumar has announced that he will not take up any new film projects during his ongoing car racing season. This means that fans will have to wait longer to see him on the big screen after this release. The film, certified U/A, has a runtime of approximately 150 minutes and 46 seconds.
The storyline follows Ajith Kumar’s character as he embarks on a mission to find his estranged wife, Kayal, played by Trisha. Along the way, he encounters ruthless criminals and corrupt law enforcement in foreign territories, making for an intense action-packed narrative.
