The highly anticipated historical drama Kanguva, featuring Tamil superstar Suriya, premiered in theaters just yesterday but faced an unfortunate setback when a pirated version began circulating online within hours. High-quality illegal copies of the movie have surfaced on popular torrent sites like Tamilrockers and messaging platforms such as Telegram, sparking serious concerns among the film’s creators and the entertainment industry at large. These pirated versions, available in various resolutions from 1080p to 240p, make it exceptionally easy for users to download the movie illegally. Carefully designed search keywords have also been associated with these pirated copies, simplifying the process of locating and downloading the movie on torrent and messaging platforms.
In addition to torrent sites, some unauthorized streaming services are reportedly hosting the film, exacerbating the piracy issue. Studio Green, the production house behind Kanguva, strongly condemned the leak and has vowed to pursue legal action against those responsible. The production team has activated an anti-piracy task force dedicated to identifying and taking down the sources of these illegal copies, with the producers promising strict measures to address the leak.

Suriya leads an impressive cast, with Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the antagonist and Disha Patani as the female lead.
