Batting first after losing the toss, Gujarat Titans posted a formidable total of 198/3 in their 20 overs. Gill showcased his class with aggressive stroke play and built a solid foundation alongside Sai Sudharsan, who contributed a fluent 53 off 36 balls. Later in the innings, Jos Buttler provided the finishing touches with a brisk unbeaten 41 from just 23 deliveries.
In response, KKR’s chase faltered early, losing opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz for just 1 in the very first over to Mohammed Siraj. Though captain Ajinkya Rahane fought hard with a composed 50 off 36 balls and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi chipped in with an unbeaten 27, the hosts could only manage 159/8.
