
Kochi: Actor Dhyan Sreenivasan has publicly expressed his admiration for his brother, Vineeth Sreenivasan, particularly praising his beloved film “Thattathin Marayathu” as his all-time favorite. Dhyan, who made his film debut in “Thira,” directed by Vineeth, has established himself in the industry, contributing to a range of films and even showcasing his directorial talent in the Nivin Pauly-led “Love Action Drama.”
This year, Dhyan appeared alongside Pranav Mohanlal in Vineeth’s film “Varshangalkku Shesham,” which garnered a positive response in theaters but faced criticism upon its release on OTT platforms. During an interview, Dhyan reflected on his experiences with his brother’s work, stating, “My favorite film of Vineeth is undoubtedly ‘Thattathin Marayathu.’ It was during this film that I truly realized the extent of his talent.”
He recounted the first time he watched “Thattathin Marayathu,” mentioning how he approached it without any prior expectations or knowledge about its plot. “I watched it at the Apsara theatre in Kozhikode, and I truly enjoyed it,” he shared, highlighting the film’s impact on him. Dhyan’s heartfelt admiration for Vineeth’s storytelling prowess underscores the lasting influence of “Thattathin Marayathu,” cementing its legacy as a significant work in Malayalam cinema.
