The Hyundai Inster Cross takes the foundation of the original Inster EV and adds a rugged, adventure-ready twist. Launched after the urban-centric Inster, the Cross variant is designed to meet the demands of off-road enthusiasts, incorporating design and functionality changes while maintaining the same powertrain.
The Inster Cross introduces several notable design updates. A new Amazonas Green Matter paint option leads a range of finishes, including dual-tone options like Aero Silver Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Tomboy Khaki. The vehicle’s bulked-up appearance includes a new front bumper, side cladding, skid plates in silver, and a functional roof rack. Its 17-inch alloy wheels further enhance the adventure-ready feel, while signature features like the circular headlights and taillights stay true to the original Inster design.
Inside, the Hyundai Inster Cross features a new grey interior theme with lime yellow accents. The 10.25-inch infotainment system, multi-functional steering wheel, and a 50:50 split seat design with sliding and reclining capabilities improve comfort and functionality. However, the boot space is somewhat limited, ranging between 280 and 351 liters.
Under the hood, the Inster Cross retains the same powertrain as its long-range Inster counterpart. Hyundai estimates a driving range of up to 360 km on a single charge, and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, offering an excellent balance between urban efficiency and adventure capability.
