Kia India has unveiled its latest initiative, ‘Kia Subscribe,’ aiming to revolutionize vehicle ownership through a flexible subscription model. This new plan, introduced in partnership with ALD Automotive Pvt Ltd, provides an innovative alternative to traditional car ownership by offering short-term leases ranging from 12 to 36 months. This service is now available in 14 major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai.
The ‘Kia Subscribe’ plan is tailored to meet the needs of both salaried professionals and self-employed individuals who desire the convenience of driving a vehicle without the long-term commitment and associated responsibilities of traditional ownership. Customers can choose from a range of Kia models with competitive monthly lease rates: Rs 17,999 for the Kia Sonet, Rs 23,999 for the Kia Seltos, Rs 24,999 for the Kia Carens, and Rs 1,29,000 for the premium Kia EV6.
This new offering builds on Kia’s earlier ‘Kia Lease’ program, which targets corporate and MSME clients with longer-term mobility solutions. Launched earlier this year in collaboration with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited, the ‘Kia Lease’ program provides flexible leasing terms of 24 to 60 months, inclusive of various mileage options and benefits such as maintenance coverage and insurance management.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, emphasized the program’s success and future potential. “The initial phase of ‘Kia Lease’ has been well-received, and with the anticipated growth of the leasing market, we aim to lead the way in delivering exceptional ownership experiences. ‘Kia Subscribe’ extends our commitment to providing accessible, premium mobility solutions,” Brar stated.
