Tata Motors is all set to launch the much-anticipated internal combustion engine (ICE) version of its Curvv SUV-coupe in India tomorrow. Following the successful reveal of the electric version, which starts at ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the prices for the ICE variant will finally be disclosed, with expectations running high among auto enthusiasts.
The Tata Curvv ICE version carries forward the sleek SUV-coupe design, characterized by a sloping roofline that seamlessly merges into the rear, maintaining a modern and dynamic appearance. The ICE model features a distinctive front grille, specifically designed to channel air into the engine and cooling system, setting it apart from its electric counterpart. The vehicle also boasts streamlined door handles for enhanced aerodynamics and rides on newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
Available in six different trim levels—Smart, Pure+, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A—the Tata Curvv ICE offers a range of premium features. These include a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof, among others.
Safety is a top priority, with the Curvv’s reinforced frame and an array of advanced safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), disc brakes on all four wheels, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Level 2 ADAS with 20 features. The vehicle also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
Under the hood, the Curvv ICE will be offered with a choice of three engines: a 1.2-liter turbo petrol, a new 1.2-liter direct injection turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
Positioned above the Nexon in Tata’s lineup, the Curvv ICE is expected to be priced between ₹9 lakh to ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a premium offering in Tata Motors’ SUV portfolio.
