Triumph has launched the updated 2025 Tiger 1200 adventure series in India, featuring significant enhancements across its GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer models. The revised lineup starts at Rs 19.38 lakh (ex-showroom) and introduces new updates in terms of engine tuning, rider ergonomics, and aesthetic choices. Triumph’s renowned 1200cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine powers all models, maintaining an impressive 148 horsepower. Key mechanical upgrades, including adjustments to the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and balancer, enhance engine inertia, enabling smoother torque delivery and refined low-speed maneuverability. The clutch has also been modified, ensuring smoother first-gear engagements.
The ergonomics of the 2025 Tiger 1200 range have been thoughtfully upgraded, emphasizing long-distance riding comfort. Adjustments include a flatter seating design to reduce rider fatigue, and a revised low-seat accessory lowers the height by an additional 20 mm. Notably, dampened handlebars, previously exclusive to Explorer trims, are now available on the GT Pro and Rally Pro models. To improve cornering capability, the GT Pro and GT Explorer models feature raised foot pegs, providing extra ground clearance in turns.
The 2025 models also debut with new color schemes and paint options. The GT Pro and GT Explorer now offer a striking Carnival Red finish, while Triumph’s Active Preload Reduction system, which lowers the rear suspension at stops for easier mounting and dismounting, is now standard across the lineup. The new Triumph Tiger 1200 lineup continues to set benchmarks in the adventure touring category, promising Indian riders an even more dynamic and comfortable experience.
