Hyderabad is about to unveil a stunning marvel that combines nature with artistry – the Experium Garden, set to rival the famous Miracle Garden in Dubai. Located in Proddutur Village near the Chilukuru Balaji Temple Road, this 150-acre botanical wonderland is poised to become a must-visit attraction. Owned by the visionary artist and businessman R. Ramdev Rao, who also runs the Green Kingdom Botanical Garden, Experium celebrates nature’s beauty and human creativity. The garden features 35 man-made hillocks, each adorned with ancient trees that are over 300 years old, sourced from around the world. These towering trees stand as living monuments to history, alongside artistic displays created by local artisans.
Ramdev Rao’s earlier project, the Unique Trees’ Nursery, houses trees between 300 and 3,500 years old, each with a unique cultural significance. As the director of Experium and managing director of Green Kingdom, Rao has ensured that only the most extraordinary trees and plants from across the globe have been incorporated into the garden. Experium is more than just a garden – it’s an immersive experience of nature, history, and art, offering visitors a captivating journey. The garden is expected to open soon.
The Preservation Effort
With over 2.5 lakh ornamental plants from 2800 plant families, Experium showcases an impressive variety of species, chosen for their beauty and ornamental appeal. To maintain exclusivity, foreign trees resembling local varieties have been avoided. The process of uprooting and transporting these giant trees from 85 countries involved meticulous planning and effort. Notable rare species include the boba tree, which is over 3500 years old, and other exotic plants like the rainbow eucalyptus, tower tree, and double coconut tree, all adding to the garden’s allure.
A Special Cottage for Prabhas
Visitors can also stay within the garden, as it offers accommodation options including honeymoon and wooden cottages. Interestingly, a permanent cottage has been reserved for actor Prabhas, designed entirely from stone, featuring exquisite furniture and an ancient olive tree in its courtyard. This exclusive cottage showcases unique craftsmanship, with a stone compound wall and locally sourced materials incorporated into its design.
Art and Technology in Nature
The garden is also a hub for art and innovation, with sculptures and art installations created by artists from across India. Visitors can marvel at art made from stone, metal, and 3D-printed designs, scattered throughout the garden. The garden is divided into themed sections, with each hill dedicated to a different variety of trees. From a palm tree garden to a tranquil Japanese garden featuring topiary plants, Experium offers a feast for the senses. Its miracle garden, similar to Dubai’s famous attraction, is a particularly stunning sight during the blooming season.

The garden will officially open in January, marking the completion of its first phase of construction.
