Zomato CEO’s Unique Job Offer: Seeking AI-Savvy Leaders with a ‘Second Brain’

Deepinder Goyal Invites Professionals Who Leverage AI for Productivity Boost

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has once again caught the attention of professionals with a unique job opportunity. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), he announced that he is looking to work with business and product leaders who have successfully integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into their workflow as a “second brain.” He encouraged interested candidates to email him with the subject line, “I have a second brain.”

Taking to social media, Goyal wrote, “I am looking to work with business and product leaders who have already started using AI as their second brain. If you are the one, please write to me at [email protected].” He also stressed the importance of including the specified phrase in the email subject.

His post quickly gained traction, igniting discussions about the transformative role of AI in enhancing productivity and decision-making. A user, Rushabh Shah, commented that using AI as a second brain helps professionals streamline their work, boost creativity, and focus on critical tasks. Goyal agreed, stating that his personal productivity had increased significantly since adopting AI-powered tools.

This isn’t the first time Goyal has made headlines with his unconventional hiring methods. Last year, he posted an extraordinary job listing that sought individuals who were hungry yet inexperienced, empathetic yet willing to make tough decisions, and most importantly, had “zero entitlement.” In an unusual twist, the role required candidates to pay a Rs 20 lakh “fee,” which was entirely donated to Feeding India. Although the position was initially unpaid for a year, those who successfully navigated Zomato’s challenging work environment—spanning food delivery, quick commerce, and restaurant supply chains—were offered a salary exceeding Rs 50 lakh.

With his latest hiring initiative, Goyal is once again challenging conventional recruitment norms. His search for AI-driven professionals reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence in modern business operations. As AI continues to revolutionize industries, Zomato’s CEO is positioning his company at the forefront of this transformation.
