Evidence Collection Begins in Thiruvananthapuram Mass Murder Case

Affan to Be in Police Custody for Three Days as Investigation Unfolds

Evidence collection in the Thiruvananthapuram mass murder case involving Affan is set to begin today. The process will start with the investigation into the murders of his uncle Latheef and Latheef’s wife. Affan will remain in police custody at Kilimanoor for the next three days as the procedure unfolds.

The horrific incident, which resulted in the deaths of five family members, left only Affan’s mother alive. She is gradually recovering from the trauma and has now been informed about the tragic loss of her family members, including her younger son.

Affan, 23, surrendered to the police in Thiruvananthapuram, confessing to the brutal killings of six people, including five family members and a female friend. According to police reports, the family’s financial struggles, stemming from the declining income of Affan’s father, Rahim, who worked in the Gulf, played a significant role. Despite mounting debts, the family maintained a lavish lifestyle, which is believed to have driven Affan to commit the murders, as per initial findings.

The investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading to the tragic incident. As the investigation progresses, authorities aim to uncover the full sequence of events and motives behind the gruesome murders. The case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the devastating consequences of financial strain and mental health issues. With Affan in custody and evidence collection underway, the focus remains on delivering justice for the victims and their grieving families.
