PG ayurveda 2025:Admission open for Ayurveda Vachaspathi MD /Ayurveda Dhanwanthari MS in government, aided, and self-financing colleges

Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin. Non-Keralites are also eligible to apply for admission to PG Ayurveda Degree All India Quota seats and management seats available in the Self-Financing colleges.

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has invited applications for admission to postgraduate degree courses in Ayurveda Vachaspathi MD (Ay.)/Ayurveda Dhanwanthari MS (Ay.) in government, aided, and self-financing Ayurveda colleges in the state.

Postgraduate degree courses in Ayurveda are offered at Government Ayurveda Colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Trippunithura and Kannur, as well as Aided Ayurveda Colleges in Ollur and Kottakkal and other Self Financing Colleges. The details of the available PG Ayurveda Degree Courses and Colleges are given in the PG Ayurveda Degree Prospectus 2025 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in

Eligibility: Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin. Non-Keralites are also eligible to apply for admission to PG Ayurveda Degree All India Quota seats and management seats available in the Self-Financing colleges.

Age: There is no upper age limit for General seats. For Service Quota candidates, the age limit for Teachers Quota candidates will be 50, and that of Medical Officer Quota candidates will be 45 as on 31.07.2025. The upper age limit of Medical Officers Quota (ISM) candidates coming under the National Pension Scheme will be 45 as on 31.07.2025.

Qualifying Criteria: Applicants, including Service quota applicants, must have qualified in the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIPAPGET) conducted by NTA. Score should be 50 per cent in the General/EWS category (ii) 40 per cent in the case of SC/ST/SEBC category and Differently Abled Candidates of these categories, and (iii) 45 per cent for Differently Abled Candidates of the General/ EWS categories.

Applicants should also figure in the rank list prepared by the CEE. The selection of candidates, including those under service/sponsored, will be made on the basis of the rank obtained in AIAPGET, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions.

Academic Qualifications: Applicant should have passed BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS with 50% marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. The separate mark condition for theory and practical does not apply to those who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the University of Kerala.

The cut-off date for completion of an internship towards the determination of eligibility for appearing in AIAPGET 2025 will be 31.08.2025. Admission will be given only on production of the Internship Certificate and Registration Certificate from the concerned Council constituted in this regard.

Applications can be submitted by 4 pm on 19.09.2025 through the website www.cee.kerala.gov. Application Fee under General Quota is Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) (ii) Service Quota – Rs. 1000/- (All categories) (iii) General & Service Quota- Rs. 2000 /- (Rs. 1500/- for SC/ST). Application fee must be remitted online. After payment of the application fee, photograph, signature and all necessary certificates/documents, candidates must be uploaded. Already registered candidates can log in using their application number and password.

Service Candidates should submit a printout of the online application with the necessary documents as instructed in the Notification to the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education, Arogya Bhavan, MG Road, Thiruvananthapuram, to reach by 4 pm on 19.09.2025. Service candidates need not send their documents to the Office of the CEE.
