Expats can look forward to great deals on airline tickets this holiday season, as Salam Air, a budget airline from Oman, announces significant discounts on flights to Kerala for Onam and Christmas. These offers apply to both domestic and international sectors, with ticket prices starting at just 19 Omani Rials. The discounted fares are available for select routes from Muscat and Salalah.
For just 19 riyals, travelers can book flights from Muscat to destinations such as Salalah, Duqm, Fujairah, Dubai, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Peshawar, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Shiraz. For those heading to India, fares to Kozhikode in Kerala, as well as Delhi, Jaipur, and Lucknow, are priced at 25 riyals. These discounted rates apply to travel between September 15 and December 15, with bookings required by July 31.
However, the offer rate includes only seven kg of hand luggage, with additional charges for extra baggage.
In addition to Salam Air’s announcement, Indigo Airlines has also introduced new services to Abu Dhabi from three Indian airports: Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, and Mangalore. These flights will begin operating next month, with the Mangalore service starting daily from August 9, the Tiruchirappalli service operating four times a week from August 11, and the Coimbatore service running three times a week starting August 10. These new routes will benefit non-residents of the Kasaragod and Kannur districts, providing more travel options during the festive season.
