The country’s gas output has surged from 28.7 billion cubic meters (BCM) in 2020-21 to an impressive 36.43 BCM in 2023-24, with projections suggesting it will hit 45.3 BCM by 2026.
In a social media update, Modi congratulated the Indian people on this milestone, emphasizing how crucial energy independence is to realizing India’s vision of becoming a developed nation.
