New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 today, with BJP leaders and public figures across the nation showering him with heartfelt birthday wishes. Many praised Modi for his visionary leadership and dedication to the nation’s progress. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha took to social media platform X to commend PM Modi as a “great son of Maa Bharati,” while expressing hope that Modi’s leadership would continue to inspire future generations. Similarly, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde wished Modi good health and credited him for steering India towards becoming a $5 trillion economy, calling the 21st century “India’s century” under Modi’s leadership.
Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik also joined the celebrations by sharing his birthday greetings, along with a unique sand art installation dedicated to the Prime Minister. Pattnaik expressed his hopes for the realization of Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), ending his message with “Jai Jagannath.”
On his special day, PM Modi is set to inaugurate 26 lakh houses under the PM Awas Yojana in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. After landing at Bhubaneswar airport, Modi will visit the Gadakana slum and meet with beneficiaries of the housing scheme. Later in the day, he will also launch the Subhadra Yojana at a public event.
