In a recent interview, Shweta revealed that she has grown indifferent to such rumors. “I am no longer bothered by these things. Over the years, I’ve realized that people’s attention span is fleeting—just four hours, and they move on. Why should I care? According to these rumors, my daughter is dating every third person she meets, and I’m supposedly getting married every year. If we go by the internet, I’ve already been married three times,” Shweta said with a laugh during her conversation with SCREEN.
Shweta further explained that negativity sells, and actors are often at the receiving end of baseless gossip. “Earlier, when social media wasn’t as prevalent, it used to upset me, especially when journalists deliberately ignored positive stories. Now, I just let it pass,” she added.
The rumors about Palak and Ibrahim started circulating in 2022 when paparazzi spotted them together. Their appearance at a Mumbai concert further fueled speculation. However, Palak clarified in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that they are just “good friends.” “We were out with a group of people and got clicked together. That’s all there is to it. Ibrahim is a sweet guy, and we talk occasionally, but there’s nothing more,” she had stated.
On the professional front, Palak Tiwari was last seen in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
