Cochin Shipyard Limited is offering exciting opportunities for candidates to join as Executive Trainees across various departments, including Engineering, HR, and Finance. The shipyard has announced 44 vacancies, with postings available in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Andaman & Nicobar. Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period, after which they will be considered for regular appointments. Eligibility criteria vary by department. Engineering candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Naval Architecture, or Civil Engineering. For the IT department, applicants must hold an Engineering degree in Computer Science/IT or a Post Graduate qualification in related fields. HR aspirants need an MBA in HR, or a relevant degree/diploma in Personnel Management or Industrial Relations. Finance candidates should have qualified in the final examination of either the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month. Once appointed as Assistant Managers, they will receive a salary in the range of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000.
The selection process will include an objective-type online test, followed by a group discussion and interview. The age limit for applicants is 27 years, with a nominal application fee of Rs. 1000 (waived for Scheduled Categories).
