This series victory marks Bangladesh’s second-ever away series win of two or more Tests, with their last such triumph dating back to 2009 against the West Indies. The Bangladeshi team demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience throughout the series, winning the opening Test by 10 wickets and securing the second Test in just four days, following a rain-affected first day.
In their second innings of the final Test, Bangladesh finished at 185-4, with Shakib Al Hasan remaining unbeaten on 21 and Mushfiqur Rahim contributing 22 not out. This victory came after a challenging first innings where Bangladesh was reduced to 26-6. However, a heroic recovery led by Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz ensured they could post a competitive total.
The Bangladeshi bowlers played a pivotal role in the series, with Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana, and Taskin Ahmed dismissing Pakistan for 172 in their second innings, setting a victory target of 184 runs.
