
Kannur: Young writer, anchor, journalist and voice-over artist Jimna Karthika turned two of the most important moments of her life into a single, unforgettable celebration. Jimna, who is also a program anchor with Real News Kerala, chose her own wedding venue as the launch stage for her debut novel, “Bhadra,” highlighting her deep commitment to literature.
After the wedding ceremonies held at Jimna’s residence in Chakkarakkal, Kannur, the book was officially released at the kathir mandapam by renowned chef Nalan. Jimna’s wish to launch her first book at the wedding venue received complete support from the groom, Satheesh Kumar, who also received the first copy of the novel.
Family members, including her father Prasannan and mother Rajitha, were present to witness the fulfillment of Jimna’s long-cherished dream.
Speaking about the novel, Jimna said that “Bhadra” sensitively portrays friendship, love, separation, and contemporary social changes. She added that the story traces a journey from the sweet moments of college life to the realities of maturity.
