Fishing activities along the Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep coasts remain unaffected for now, with no restrictions imposed today. However, the low-pressure system has triggered alerts for strong winds and rough seas in several regions, including the Tamil Nadu coast, the Gulf of Mannar, the southern Andhra Pradesh coast, and parts of the central Arabian Sea and southwest Bay of Bengal.
Wind speeds in these areas are projected to range between 35-45 km/h, occasionally peaking at 55 km/h, prompting maritime authorities to exercise caution. While the rainfall in Kerala is expected to remain light, the evolving weather patterns underscore the need for vigilance, especially in coastal regions prone to rough sea conditions.
