India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir responded to recent reports of unrest within the Indian cricket team’s dressing room, insisting that internal debates should remain private. Speaking ahead of India’s fifth and final Test against Australia, Gambhir clarified that while there had been “honest conversations” with players, the reports circulating in the media were simply not true. He emphasized that discussions between coaches and players, especially regarding performance, must stay confidential and not be leaked to the public. “Debates should stay in the dressing room. These were just reports, not the truth,” Gambhir asserted.
