His last domestic match before the England series was against Assam, where he contributed with the bat but did not bowl.
“I am feeling very good. I hadn’t played ODIs for almost two years since the 2023 World Cup. One needs to adapt quickly to this format. I think playing domestic cricket has helped me. Spending time bowling in the Ranji Trophy has been beneficial in keeping my rhythm,” said Jadeja in Cuttack.
