Tendulkar and Rayudu Shine in Victory Over West Indies Masters

India Masters, led by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, clinched the inaugural International Masters League (IML) 2025 title with a six-wicket victory over West Indies Masters in Raipur. Chasing 149 runs, India Masters achieved the target in 17.1 overs, thanks to a stellar 67-run opening partnership between Tendulkar (25) and Ambati Rayudu (74).

Tendulkar delighted fans with his vintage flair, including a stylish upper-cut six reminiscent of his iconic shot against Shoaib Akhtar in the 2003 World Cup. Though dismissed for 25, his innings set the tone for the chase. Rayudu anchored the innings with a brilliant 74 off 50 balls, featuring nine fours and three sixes, while Stuart Binny sealed the win with two towering sixes in the final overs.

Earlier, India Masters’ bowlers restricted West Indies Masters to 148/7, with Vinay Kumar (3/26) and Shahbaz Nadeem (2/12) leading the attack. Lendl Simmons’ 57 was the highlight for the Caribbean side, but it wasn’t enough to challenge India’s dominance.
