C0C0N 2025: International Cyber Security & Hacking Conference will take place from 07 to 11 October 2025 in Kochi

This is one of the biggest and oldest cybersecurity conferences in this part of the globe, bringing together cybersecurity researchers, industry experts, government agencies, law enforcement, academia, and policy makers to engage in knowledge exchange, skills development, networking, and joint efforts to tackle evolving cyber threats.

The International Cyber Security & Hacking Conference will take place in Kochi. The event named ” c0c0n 2025″ starts with three days of intensive hands-on training (07–09 October) followed by the main conference (10–11 October) at Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty, Kochi.

This is one of the biggest and oldest cybersecurity conferences in this part of the globe, bringing together cybersecurity researchers, industry experts, government agencies, law enforcement, academia, and policy makers to engage in knowledge exchange, skills development, networking, and joint efforts to tackle evolving cyber threats.

It is a rare platform to discuss, showcase, educate, understand and spread awareness on the latest trends in information safety, cyber security and hi-tech crimes. It also aims to provide a common platform for security forces, government, industrial leaders, startups, students, and professionals to get hands-on exposure to the latest technological advancements in the field.

The Mission of the Conference is “Connect | Collaborate | Contribute”, emphasising the importance of bringing all stakeholders together in the cybersecurity domain. The theme of the event is “Securing the Cyber Future Together”. Kerala Police, in collaboration with c0c0n / Information Security Research Association (ISRA), is organising the event.

They are partnerships with cybersecurity firms, research communities, governmental and non-governmental bodies. C0c0n 2025 will host several distinguished speakers and thought leaders from national and international cybersecurity domains. Govind Mohan, Union Home Secretary, Government of India, will be the chief guest along with Dr Ajay Kumar — Chairman, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Government of India, Rear Admiral Sanjay Sachdeva, NM — Director General, Defence Cyber Agency, Nathan Hamiel — Senior Director of Research, Kudelski Security, will also be present at the event.

These speakers will address themes such as AI, cyber risk, resilience, national security, and emerging threat landscapes. In addition to the keynotes, the conference will feature a broad roster of experts delivering talks across multiple tracks:

These sessions are intended to build practical skills in software and system security, exploit development, network defence, threat modelling, forensics, and red teaming. Villages / Interactive Domains One of the distinctive features of c0c0n is the Village concept—interactive zones where participants engage in specialised hands-on activities, challenges, and hacking experiments.

Villages scheduled for 10–11 October include:

• Phishing Village organisers are drawn from security communities, research groups, and domain experts.

Villages allow attendees to explore new attack surfaces, defensive strategies, hardware hacking, radio / wireless domains, adversarial simulation, phishing labs, and more in an immersive, collaborative environment. Parallel to the technical tracks and villages, C0C0N 2025 will host an exhibition area with product and industry pavilions.

This space provides an opportunity for cybersecurity vendors, product teams, startups, and service providers to showcase tools, platforms, threat intelligence systems, defence technologies, secure coding frameworks, forensic tools, and more. Attendees will have access to demos, proof-of-concept stands, networking booths, and opportunities to engage with innovators and vendors in the cybersecurity ecosystem.

There is a dedicated LEA (Law Enforcement Agencies) track in the conference, reflecting c0c0n’s commitment to bridging security communities and policing. Sessions will focus on digital forensics, tracing cybercrime, cross-border collaboration, victim identification, legal frameworks, and cyber policy support. In past speaker lists, officers such as Dr Sandeep Mittal, IPS (Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Wing) and Yashasvi Yadav, IPS (Maharashtra State Cyber) are scheduled to deliver in the LEA track. Special initiatives around CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) investigation, victim identification capacity building, and cross-agency coordination are expected to be underscored given the conference’s thematic relevance this year.

It also aims at providing a common platform for security forces, government, industrial leaders, start-ups, students, and professionals to get hands-on exposure to the latest technological advancements in the field. “The issue of cybersecurity needs to move beyond traditional policing activities and requires a different outlook to deal with technology”.

On October 10th 2025, Hon’ble Union Home Secretary will inagurate the Opening Ceremony in the presence of Sri. Hibi Eden Hon’ble Member of the Parliament, Sri Govind Mohan IAS, on 11th October 2025, by Hon Chief Minister Sri Pinarayi Vijayan, will do the Closing Ceremony.
