Cupertino (California): Apple has officially unveiled its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series, marking a significant upgrade with new features and improvements. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, powered by the A18 Pro chip, come equipped with a new 48MP Fusion camera system that includes a faster quad-pixel sensor. This advanced camera setup supports 4K120 fps video recording in Dolby Vision, enhancing the video recording capabilities of these models.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available in black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium colors, with storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB. Pricing for the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 119,900, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 144,900. Pre-orders for these models will begin on September 13, with the official release scheduled for September 20.
In addition to the Pro models, Apple also introduced the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, which will be available in ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. These models come with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, with the iPhone 16 starting at Rs 79,900 and the iPhone 16 Plus at Rs 89,900. Like the Pro models, pre-orders for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will start on September 13, and they will be available in stores from September 20.
Apple also showcased the Apple Watch Series 10, which features a refined design and new functionalities such as sleep apnea notifications, faster charging, water depth and temperature sensing, and enhanced health and fitness insights. The Series 10 will be available in aluminum and titanium, with new finishes including a reflective jet black aluminum and stunning titanium cases in natural, gold, and slate. Pricing for the Apple Watch Series 10 starts at Rs 46,900, with the Watch SE beginning at Rs 24,900. Pre-orders start on September 13, with availability from September 20.
Additionally, Apple introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 2, now available in a new black titanium finish. This model offers the most accurate GPS in a sports watch, the brightest display of any Apple product, and up to 36 hours of battery life with regular use or up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode.
Apple also announced new AirPods models, including AirPods 4 starting at Rs 12,900, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation for Rs 17,900, AirPods Pro 2 at Rs 24,900, and AirPods Max with USB-C charging priced at Rs 59,900. Pre-orders for these products will also begin on September 13, with availability from September 20.
