OnePlus 15 is coming soon to India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a lot more: Full details here

The phone is confirmed to arrive with three 50-megapixel cameras. There is no Hasselblad tuning and branding in this generation, though the partnership will continue on Oppo phones like the upcoming Find X9 series.

OnePlus has officially revealed some key details about its upcoming flagship smartphone at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in China. The phone will be called OnePlus 15, and the company claims (source) it’ll be the first device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite inside the OnePlus 13. With the new chip, Qualcomm is promising to deliver the “world’s fastest mobile CPU, paired with its most advanced GPU and NPU”, and phones like the OnePlus 15 with it will be able to offer “breakthrough speed, sustained gaming power, intelligent photography and all-day efficiency.”

The “industry’s leading chipset” is joined by the latest version of OxygenOS – likely OxygenOS 16 – to deliver, among other things, “unrivalled gaming experience” with “seamless gameplay across a range of popular titles.” OnePlus has separately confirmed that the OnePlus 15 has a flagship 165Hz OLED display and features “self-developed DetailMax image engine,” said to use advanced algorithms to capture images that feel “breathtakingly clear and truly real.”

The phone is confirmed to arrive with three 50-megapixel cameras. There is no Hasselblad tuning and branding in this generation, though the partnership will continue on Oppo phones like the upcoming Find X9 series. Ideally, the OnePlus 15 should launch first in China before making its way to other markets, including India. With OnePlus kicking off the hype train early, it is expected that the launch will be sooner than expected.
