Oppo’s anticipated Reno 13 series is reportedly set for a late November launch in China, succeeding the Reno 12 lineup introduced earlier this year. While Oppo has yet to confirm the specifics, tipster Digital Chat Station recently hinted that November 25 is a likely date, though it remains tentative. The new series is expected to mirror the previous lineup with two models: the base Oppo Reno 13 and the Oppo Reno 13 Pro.
According to leaks, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro may come equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, offering enhanced processing power. Display-wise, the Reno 13 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution (1,264 x 2,780 pixels) LTPO OLED screen with quad-micro curves, aiming for immersive visuals and smoother transitions. For photography enthusiasts, the Pro model is expected to feature an upgraded 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, surpassing the 2x zoom found in the Reno 12 Pro’s Samsung S5KJN5 telephoto lens.
Battery and charging improvements are also anticipated for the Oppo Reno 13 Pro, with reports suggesting an impressive 5,900mAh battery. Charging capabilities may include 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, catering to users who prioritize quick power-ups. Additionally, the Reno 13 Pro is likely to have an improved IP rating, potentially offering stronger dust and water resistance compared to the Reno 12 Pro’s IP65 rating.
