How to transfer money using Aadhaar number through BHIM App
Transferring money using Aadhaar number is a government dedicated Aadhaar Pay service using the BHIM app, will allow users to make payments using biometric authentication, without needing their mobile phones for and verification codes.
BHIM Aadhaar Pay enables users to send or receive digital payments via Aadhaar Authentication. It enables for any user associated with any acquiring bank live on BHIM Aadhaar Pay, to accept payment of any bank by authenticating users’ biometrics.

How it works
- Open the BHIM app.
- Tap ‘Send Money’ option.
- Tap on the three dots on the top-right.
- Choose Aadhaar Pay.
- Enter the recipient’s Aadhaar number.
- Tap on Verify.
- Now enter the amount and a reason for payment.
- Finally tap on Pay.
