Idukki Murder; accused husband is nabbed by police after 8 days
In connection with the murder of his wife, police on Sunday nabbed Kanchiyar native Vijesh, from a forest area on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. He was on the run for eight days following the murder of his wife Valsamma alias Anumol here. The accused, 29, was taken into custody by a team led by Kumali CI.
He will be brought to Kattappana before recording his arrest for murdering his wife. The deceased Anumol was a school teacher at Jyothi Primary School at Pallikavala in Kanchiyar. The body was recovered from their bedroom in his residence at Pezhukandam. The body was hidden under a cot.
