Covid hits 8,000 Children In Maharashtra; Maharashtra to face third wave

In one district, 8,000 children were infected with a corona in a single month. Maharashtra with great preparations to combat the third wave of covid in deep concern. In the second wave, 8,000 children were affected by covid in Ahmednagar district this month. With this, the authorities are concerned that the third wave will further affect the children.

The Covid Ward has already been started exclusively for children in the city of Sangli. Five children are currently being treated. More facilities are being provided. Corporation member Abhijit Bhosle said all preparations were being completed to deal with the third wave. Children don’t feel like they’re in the hospital. Instead, it creates the impression of being in school or nursery Abijith said.

When they found out that ten percent of the total patients in the Ahmednagar district were children, the authorities thought about the preparations. The district administration discussed the matter with pediatricians. The doctors have been asked to be ready. In the second wave, there was a shortage of hospital beds and oxygen. MLA Sangram Jagtap said steps have been taken to avoid such a situation in the future.

The Maharashtra government is preparing for the third wave in late July or early August. Officials have been instructed to make all arrangements within two months. Maharashtra is one of the states worst affected by the second wave of covid.
