Cyber Attack Case Registered on Maria Oommen’s Complaint by Poojappura Police

The Poojappura police have officially registered a case based on a complaint filed by Maria Oommen, the daughter of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The case has been registered under sections related to sexual abuse and derogatory actions towards women. Maria Oommen’s complaint alleges that she was subjected to a widespread cyber attack following the announcement of the results of the Puthuppally elections, with CPIM groups being implicated as the culprits behind the online assault.

Notably, Oommen Chandy’s younger daughter, Achu Oommen, had previously filed a similar complaint regarding the cyber attack, and this investigation is currently ongoing. In connection with Achu Oommen’s complaint, the police had also registered a case against Nandakumar Kolathappilly, a leader of a left-wing organization, who subsequently issued an apology on Facebook.
