Onam Bumper Lottery Promotion in Multiple Languages Targeting Migrant Workers

The announcement of ‘Keral Rajya Sarkar Ka Onam Bumper… Kerala Ithhas Ka Sabse Bada Upahar..’ is set to resonate through the streets as the lottery department aims to tap into the popularity of lottery tickets among migrant laborers in Kerala by advertising in various languages. The languages of Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, and Assamese have been chosen to reach a wider audience.

The message ‘Kerala Lottery unavailable online, exclusively purchasable through authorized vendors’ will serve as another key advertising slogan, intended to curb illegal online sales in other states where counterfeit lotteries bearing names like ‘Kerala Mahalottery’ are prevalent.

The promotional campaign will be disseminated across lottery outlets, railway stations, and bus terminals within Kerala. Radio broadcasts will serve as the primary medium for multilingual advertising. After the winner of the Onam Bumper ticket is drawn, a revamp of other lottery tickets is set to follow.

As of now, 3.5 million Onam Bumper tickets have been sold, with 4 million distributed through district offices. The subsequent phase will witness the printing of an additional 2 million tickets.
