Congress Plans Nationwide Press Conferences to Highlight Government’s Stance on Women’s Reservation

The Congress party is set to conduct press conferences in 21 cities across India, featuring 21 women leaders who will shed light on the Modi government’s position regarding women’s reservation, the party announced. These press conferences will be held in various cities, with leaders like MP Rajani Patil in Ahmedabad, Mahila Congress chief Netta D’Souza in Hyderabad, Ranjeet Ranjan in Bhubaneswar, Alka Lamba in Jaipur, Amee Yagnik in Mumbai, Ragini Nayak in Ranchi, and Shama Mohamed in Srinagar, among others. Pawan Khera, the head of the Congress’ media and publicity department, shared that the objective is to unveil what they perceive as the Modi government’s actions regarding women’s reservation, describing it as “treachery.”
