New Delhi: According to data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday, India recorded 7,992 new COVID-19 cases and 393 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 3,46,682,736 and the total death toll to 4,75,128, bringing the overall caseload to 3,46,682,736 and the total death toll to 4,75,128, respectively (December 11, 2021). Today, the country also recorded 9,265 recoveries.

In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 1,666 cases. The active caseload is 93,277.

The national COVID-19 recovery rate has reached 98.36%, the highest since March of last year.

The daily positivity rate is 0.64 percent, and it has been less than two percent for the last 68 days. According to the ministry, the weekly positivity rate is 0.71 percent, and it has been less than one percent for the last 27 days.

According to the ministry, the number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 3,41,14,331, with a case fatality rate of 1.37 percent.

Meanwhile, the total number of doses administered in the country as part of the COVID-19 vaccination drive has surpassed 131.99 crore.
