Nava Kerala Bus Launches Inter-State Service on Kozhikode-Bengaluru Route

The Nava Kerala bus, now rebranded as Garuda Premium, is set to inaugurate its inter-state services starting from Sunday, May 5. This new route will connect Kozhikode to Bengaluru, making stops at Kalpetta, Sultan Bathery, Gundlupet, Mysuru, and Mandya along the way.

The departure from Kozhikode is scheduled for 4 a.m., with an estimated arrival time in Bengaluru around 11:35 a.m. For the return journey, the bus will depart from Bengaluru at 2:30 p.m. and reach Kozhikode by 10:05 p.m.

Passengers can expect a fixed fare of Rs. 1,171, inclusive of cess, with an additional five percent luxury tax applicable for AC services. The bus is equipped with 26 push-back seats and various amenities including a lift, restroom, television, and mobile charging points.

This decision to utilize the Nava Kerala bus for commercial operations comes amidst discussions surrounding its underutilization despite recent modifications. The launch of inter-state services marks a significant step forward in optimizing the potential of this transport service.
