PM Modi to Lead 1 km Roadshow in Kochi during Kerala Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Kerala, with a prominent event being a 1 km roadshow in Kochi on his arrival day, January 16. The roadshow is scheduled to begin at 6 pm, commencing from Maharajas’ College Ground on MG Road and proceeding to the government guest house via Hospital Road and Park Avenue. This visit is part of PM Modi’s engagement in various events, including attending the wedding of actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi’s daughter in Guruvayur. The roadshow, which is expected to witness the participation of around 50,000 BJP workers from different parts of the district, is seen as a strategic political move in the region.

Following the roadshow, Prime Minister Modi will spend the night at the government guest house. On January 17, he will travel to Guruvayur in a helicopter to attend the wedding, after which he will inaugurate the International Ship Repair Facility and dry dock of the Cochin Shipyard on Willingdon Island. Later, he is scheduled to address a conference of the in-charges of ‘Shakti Kendra,’ the BJP’s booth-level organizational empowerment committees in the state. The day concludes with the Prime Minister returning to Delhi, marking a packed schedule during his Kerala visit.
